The Printemps des Arts Festival is coming!

As H.R.H. the Princess of Hanover says, there are some events whose longevity and modernity make them unique. The Printemps des Arts is one of them.

An event that perpetuates the spirit of open-mindedness so dear to Prince Albert I and Prince Pierre, it encompasses a multitude of disciplines from cinema and literature to jazz and painting. The 2023 Printemps des Arts aims to be a crossroads where musicians, actors, poets and composers all come together.

While the 2023 edition builds on a theme first explored last year, inspired by a phrase borrowed from the composer Guillaume de Machaut: "My end is my beginning", it will also showcase the music of North America. This dual philosophy makes for a unique programme that includes the complete works for cello and piano of Gabriel Fauré performed by Aurélien and Denis Pascal, the immense body of piano work by Franz Schubert performed by Michel Dalbert, and a tribute to Chet Baker by the legendary double bassist Riccardo Del Fra.

The Printemps des Arts étant is equally an opportunity to make new acquaintances, with special meetings preceding the concert at which specialists (composers, musicologists, journalists, etc.) can chat to the audience, and after-shows where spectators can give their impressions and meet the artists for unforgettable moments!

Finally, a word to budding music lovers: the Festival is organising a variety of actions aimed at the younger generation. Some of the artists performing during the Printemps des Arts will be sharing their passion with students from music schools in the region, with a month of master classes and educational projects providing further proof, were any needed, that this event is one of the most important shared cultural events of the year.
