The Monte-Carlo Gastronomie trade show took place from 25 to 28 November beneath the famous Chapiteau de Fontvieille, marking its 25th anniversary. We look back at this traditional annual gathering!
This gourmet gathering is held annually beneath the Chapiteau de Fontvieille in the heart of the Principality, where gastronomy is the order of the day, 365 days a year!
The event showcases a carefully chosen selection of the finest gastronomical producers, and offers the chance to discover and taste a variety of exceptional products, along with all kinds of activities: the 25th Monte-Carlo Gastronomie trade show once again delivered on its promise.
Gourmets and the curious were able to stroll between the stands, tasting the most refined chocolates, savouring the very best of international gastronomy, or enjoying some highly sought-after wines and champagnes… all in moderation, naturally.
And as every year, the 2022 edition saw a number of chefs go head to head in the prestigious Maestro Chef cookery competition. Under the watchful eye of an expert jury led by Joël Garault, President of the association Monaco Goût et
Saveurs and former head chef at the Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo, eight candidates demonstrated all their creative skills on a vegetarian theme.
The new addition to this year's event was reesrved for younger visitors, with a special Maestro
Kids competition that saw six budding cooks put on their chef's hat to bake a sweet or savoury cake.
