Swing Monte-Carlo

There can be no denying that the lush green lawns that have graced the Jardins des Boulingrins since last summer are incredibly inviting.

Every Thursday this summer, Monaco is set to go with a swing! The Place du Casino Gardens are being transformed into a temporary pop-up Mada One restaurant, offering delicious food to accompany a lively programme of fun and convivial events and activities. Enjoy the chic, Bohemian-style atmosphere as you savour an apéritif or a picnic in the gardens, beneath the stars, opposite the legendary Place du Casino…
There will be a suitably summery musical accompaniment to these unique events, to which only Monte-Carlo has the secret. The luxury boutiques of the Promenade Monte-Carlo Shopping mall will be opening late, for a little "shopping by night". A pure moment of Dolce Vita, so typical of the Riviera.

And the Mada One pop-up restaurant will be open from Tuesday to Saturday, from 2 pm to 8 pm! 

For another equally unexpected experience, head to the lawns on Thursday 6 and 13 August for an evening picnic, "snackonomy" style. A tablecloth laid on the grass of the Place du Casino Gardens, a picnic hamper carefully filled with classy delicacies, prepared specially for you by the Mada One. For these two evenings, organised in partnership with Veuve Clicquot, you will need to reserve your hamper in advance. There will also be children's picnic baskets available. Then simply settle down to enjoy the live music and cool Mediterranean air. A unique chance to experience life's simple pleasures, Monaco style!

Programme:

- Cocktail lounge and finger food by Mada One: every Thursday from 6.30 pm to 10.30 pm
- Special "pique-nique chic by Mada One" evenings: Thursday 06/08 and Thursday 13/08 from 7.30 pm to 10.30 pm

Swing Monte-Carlo! A reference to the "Swinging Sixties" in London when hedonism was the order of the day, a symbol of rebirth after the health crisis. A fine summer programme has been put together, with the installation of a floral swing seat designed by florist Stanislas Ducreux, who is in charge of the decorations for Swing Monte-Carlo! Young and old alike can pose for a photo in the "selfie spot" and immortalise themselves on social media, with the Casino de Monte-Carlo in the background.

After being transformed into a Christmas Garden last winter, this summer will see the Patio of the Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo become a Tropical Garden from 15 July to 15 September. A vibrant venue, unveiled in 2019 after the refurbishment of the iconic hotel on the Place du Casino, the Patio is the ideal place to take some refreshment with a signature cocktail from the Bar Américain.
