The Principality is once again gearing up to preserve the oceans.
The oceans are precious - let's protect them!
Ocean week will take place in Monaco from 24 to 30 March 2019. The aim is to allow marine experts to come together and share their analysis of the challenges in preserving the marine environment, while working together to find practical solution.
The programme of Monaco Ocean Week includes themes focusing on innovation, research and development of the blue economy. The prospects for biomimetics, the possibilities opened up by bioplastics, rethinking the yachts of tomorrow, uniting initiatives to offer more protection and combat plastic pollution, and developing a sustainable ocean economy... all of these issues will be studied at the numerous workshops and conferences held throughout the week.
It is the very future of our shared planet that will be the focus of this 3rd edition of Monaco Ocean Week, from 24 to 30 March 2019, organised by the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation, the Prince's Government and their partners, the Oceanographic Institute of Monaco, the Scientific Centre of Monaco and the Yacht Club de Monaco.
A large part of the programme is open to the public.
