Theatre - "Un barrage contre le Pacifique"
Tuesday 12 November 2024, at 8 pm, Théâtre Princesse Grace
1931, southern French Indochina. A woman lives alone with her two children, Joseph and Suzanne (20 and 16) on the Cambodian coast, near the port of Ram. They have an old Citroën B12. The mother played the piano in a cinema for 15 years, and has saved up to buy her own plot of land, which turns out to be unfarmable. Every year, it is flooded by the sea, which the mother doggedly refers to as the Pacific Ocean. Battling the elements, she eventually persuades the authorities and local peasant farmers to build a dam.

Theatre - "Un Léger Doute"
Tuesday 26 November 2024, at 8 pm, Théâtre Princesse Grace
What becomes of an actor when there's no longer an audience to perform their role for? Not much, is the answer. But when the curtain goes up, are they still acting, or have they truly returned to real life? Just who is real and who isn't? As the title suggests, there's a shadow of a doubt... Experience an explosive voyage into the realms of the absurd with "Un Léger Doute", the debut play by Stéphane De Groodt.

Theatre - "Chut ! Une pomme"
Wednesday 4 December 2024, at 5 pm, Théâtre Princesse Grace
A painter, halfway between Charlie Chaplin and Mr Hulot, wanders through the surrealist world of his home and its contents. He holds unlikely conversations with his radio set, his trusty everyday companion. But something is about to put a proverbial spanner in the works of mechanical daily existence. All it will take is a tiny apple to trigger a headlong rush from his sitting room to the huge paintings that hang on his walls. And there, among the canvases, gravity suddenly vanishes and anything is possible...

Theatre - "C'est un métier d'homme"
Tuesday 10 December 2024, at 8 pm, Théâtre Princesse Grace
A conference room. Joyous mayhem. A pair of oddballs trade ever more outrageous boasts. One is a champion skier. The other is a psychoanalyst. Or a great drinker, or a "show terminator". But every brag begins with the same repeated phrase: "my job involves...". With a mix of pride and ridicule, they paint a series of burlesque self-portraits of "men's work", and in doing so topple from the pedestal of their own megalomania.

Thursday 19 December 2024, at 8 pm, Théâtre Princesse Grace
Hugo Bardin won the first season of Drag Race France as Paloma, a character created for a short film and inspired by Paloma Picasso and the actresses cast by Almodovar. Here she returns with a show that's resolutely feminine with a hint of feminism, starring as seven different women, each a vibrant embodiment of her creator's passions and neuroses.

Theatre - "60 jours de prison"
Thursday 7, Friday 8, Saturday 9 at 8 pm, and Sunday 10 November 2024, Théâtre des Muses
August 1944. As the battle to liberate Paris raged, Sacha Guitry found himself imprisoned without explanation, on the strength of nothing more than rumours that he had collaborated with the Nazi occupiers. If nobody knew the true reason for his arrest, it was quite simply because there never was one. During his unjust ordeal, the great writer kept a daily diary of his musings, mingling everyday anecdotes with an account of one of history's most important periods. With his customary class, humour, and philosophical outlook, Sacha Guitry reveals an intimate, secret side of himself, full of humanity and humility.
