One of the essential sporting events of the year is galloping into the Principality for three days of prestige competition from 29 June to 1 July!
Monaco is the stage for some truly exceptional events… Held every year at the start of the summer season, the Jumping International de Monte-Carlo is among them, in more ways than one.
For one thing, the setting is like no other. Nestling between Monaco's Old Town below the Prince's Palace and the superyachts moored at Port Hercule, the venue ensures the event is like no other, with the world's finest riders and horses vying vor victory against a unique backdrop.
Like the Herculis athletics meeting, the Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters, and the Formula 1 Grand Prix, the Jumping International de Monte-Carlo is now an essential and unmissable date on a highly prestigious calendar of exclusive sporting events, which every sportsperson dreams of winning. The Jumping is one of the most prestigious evets on the Longines Global Champions Tour, the world championship of five-star showjumping tournaments.
Another highlight of these three days of competition is the Longines Pro Am Cup. This special event, created and sponsored by Charlotte Casiraghi, herself a distinguished rider, brings together top professionals and talented young amateurs to compete on the same team.
Around the sandy course, between the boxes, training paddocks and shops in the exhibitors' village, spectators can bump into the beautifully cared for steeds and champions of the discipline around the port. Whether you are an equestrian afcionado or merely curious, the Jumping de Monte-Carlo is an event not to be missed!
