Last evening, the Monaco Government Tourist & Convention Authority invited all of its partners to an event at the Fairmont Monte-Carlo to present a review of the past year and unveil its new marketing campaign.
In the late afternoon, the 200 or so guests convened in the new grand salon of the Fairmont Monte-Carlo hotel, which opened last November. The audience of hotel partners, destination management agencies and other tourism industry stakeholders all attended at the invitation of the director of tourism, Guy Antognelli.
His Excellency Mr Pierre Dartout, Minister of State, got the "Review & Strategy" evening under way by presenting the positive results obtained in 2022, and reminded the audience that everyone needed to play their part in the months ahead.
The main points of note in the presentation by the Director of Tourism, Guy Antognelli, were the strong resurgence of certain markets, the need for people to travel again after the major global events of recent years, and the rising occupancy rate of the Principality's hotels.
But the main reason for bringing together the Principality's tourism industry saw Sandrine Camia, Deputy Director, unveil the brand new marketing campaign launched by the Tourist & Convention Authority: Like Nowhere Else! The slogan embodies the very quintessence of the Principality.
Legendary, iconic, and unique, the Principality offers visitors the chance to live exclusive experiences and share special moments in an essential destination. This is the core message of the campaign.
To support it, the Tourist & Convention Authority has unveiled a first selection of images highlighting details of Monaco against a Riviera blue backdrop, all with an elegant and minimalist design. The Prince's Palace, the Exotic Garden, and the Larvotto seaside complex are among the locations featured.
Monaco makes every experience unique. So unique that nobody can claim to have experienced it anywhere else. Because the Principality of Monaco is quite simply like nowhere else.
