The Principality has no shortage of idyllic restaurants to ensure your stay on the beautiful Mediterranean coast is a delicious one in every way. And now there is more choice than ever when it comes to experiencing that unique Monegasque 'art de vivre', with brand new concept eateries opening at the Hôtel Métropole Monte-Carlo and Monte-Carlo
Société des Bains de Mer.
Opening of the new gourmet restaurant at the Hôtel Métropole Monte-Carlo, "Les
Ambassadeurs by Christophe Cussac"
Subtly mixing authenticity with exceptional technique, Christophe
Cussac's gourmet cuisine is a love letter to the Mediterranean. The celebrated Chef now oversees the three restaurants at the Hôtel Métropole Monte-Carlo. First, there is Yoshi, the only Japanese restaurant on the Côte d’Azur with a Michelin star. Then Odyssey, serving southern Mediterranean-style cuisine. And finally the most recent addition, "Les Ambassadeurs by Christophe Cussac", which is due to open in the spring of 2023. The name is a reference to the hotel's history and success in the 1920s with the iconic restaurant "Les Ambassadeurs". The Chef will be offering fine contemporary Mediterranean dishes inspired by his own gastronomical heritage.
Maona
Monte-Carlo
A new concept venue will soon be opening in the Principality, where guests will be transported back to the legendary evenings of the Riviera jet-set of the 1960s and 1970s. Its name is Maona Monte-Carlo, and it is due to open in July 2023. The alfresco cabaret-style restaurant will feature live music and typical Monegasque cuisine. The name is a portmanteau of Maria and Onassis, better known as the iconic couple Aristote Onassis and the celebrated opera singer Maria Callas. An evening at Maona Monte-Carlo will be a heady blend of great food and live DJ sets, in a prestigious location overlooking the Mediterranean.
