After a two-year hiatus, the Principality is getting ready to host the 45th International Monte-Carlo Circus Festival & the 10th New Generation under the most famous big top of them all, from 20 to 29 January 2023. The Festival will bring together the world's biggest acts on stage in the world's second smallest country, to create a major international spectacle.
In the heart of the Fontvieille district, roll up, roll up and see a circus show like no other. This unique festival of the circus arts owes its longevity and prestige to its president, Princess Stéphanie de Monaco, who is also Honorary President of the Fédération Mondiale
du Cirque.
In 2005, she took over the reins from her father, Prince Rainier III and has been selecting the cream of the international crop to perform at the festival ever since. Jugglers, magicians, clowns, balancing acts, and other outstanding performers come to Monaco every year for ten days of breathtaking spectacle, as they vie to win the ultimate accolade of the circus arts: the Golden Clown!
For the first time, this year the Festival International du Cirque and New Generation will come together on the circus floor to celebrate the Grand Jubilee shows!
