At the Grimaldi Forum, you're sure to find something to suit your taste! There's still time to dive into the colourful "L’Exhibition(niste)" by Christian Louboutin. As part of commemorations to mark the centenary of the death of Prince Albert I, the exhibition "The Prince and the Painter. Albert I and Louis Tinayre, a Friendship Discovering the World" is running at the gallery on Quai Antoine Ier de Monaco. The pieces displayed are the work of Prince Albert I's travelling companion, painter Louis Tinayre, who documented the Sovereign's expeditions in the late 19th century. Closes on 11 September.
Meanwhile, you'll find the exhibition "Le
Chat déambule", devoted to the cat created by Belgian artist Philippe Geluck, opposite the Mediterranean on the Promenade du Larvotto. Follow the trail to discover 20 sculptures of extraordinary cats that won't fail to grab your attention! You can stroll around these steel felines until 2 October.
The long-awaited re-opening of the State Apartments at the Prince's Palace took place in early July, with the recent refurbishments displayed in all their glory. Marvel at the renovated original frescoes, along with artworks and furniture from the Sovereign's own collections, restoring the apartments to their original grandeur. The Palace can be visited until 15 October.
Meet the multi-talented artist Christian Bérard, nicknamed "Bébé", known and appreciated by the leading names in world fashion, from Christian Dior to Chanel. At the Villa Paloma, until 16 October, discover drawings, photos, interior designs, and costumes representing the many faces of the artist, around his own themes: "interiors, the marvellous, and the Mediterranean".
Finally, head to the Vilal Sauber to discover an exhibition dedicated to the celebrated photographer Helmut Newton, featuring some 280 photographs "showing Newton's brilliance, with an iconic and fascinated look at a lifestyle of elegance, a world of appearances and pretences". Closes on 13 November.
