The "Professional Sustainable Event Certificate" organised for the first time in Europe by the Events Industry Council will take place in Monaco from 28 to 30 March.
During this training course, the participants - who come from various industries including business tourism, hotel and catering, non-profit associations and sport - will have the opportunity to acquire all the knowledge they need to create a "responsible" event.
Including sustainability in strategic event planning is a sensible choice for businesses looking to position themselves as responsible enterprises.
In addition to the ethical and environmental benefits, sustainable developments represents a significant commercial opportunity.
Spread over two days, the classes will provide participants with invaluable information and an active learning experience, giving them the skills and knowledge they need to organise their own sustainable events.
The themes covered will include understanding the commercial value of sustainability, the methods and techniques associated with sustainable design, and international standards on sustainability and measurement and reporting methods.
At the end of the course, participants will be presented with the Professional Sustainable Event Certificate (SEPC).
The course in professional certification in the organisation of sustainable events will take place at the Fairmont Monte-Carlo, from 28 to 30 March 2019.
