"I Colori di una vita" Exhibition in Monaco

The painter Carlo Meluccio is exhibiting his works until 30 October 2014

Carlo Meluccio was born in 1923 in La Spezia, Liguria.  During a trip to Tuscany at the start of his medical career, he decided to learn to paint.

Since then, he has divided his time between his two passions – the profession of Hippocrates and a love of painting.

Today, he lives and paints in Prata di Principato Ultra, in Southern Italy.

Some of Carlo Meluccio's paintings transport the viewer to night-time scenes of working-class Italy;  others feature still lifes reminiscent of works by Manet.
