Monaco named Europe’s second best destination!

Every year for the last fifteen years or so, European Best Destinations has produced an annual ranking of the continent’s twenty best destinations, based on surveys of over a million travellers from 172 countries.
And the results for 2024 are in, with Monaco coming home in a hugely impressive second place out of 500 destinations, behind Marbella and ahead of Malta.
The achievement is recognition for the many advantages that the Principality has to offer for visitors, with its subtle blend of glamour, culture, and relaxation. Monaco enjoys a strong reputation as a safe destination, and is renowned for its incredible gastronomy, major international sporting and cultural events, and unique night life.
The poll result was hailed by Guy Antognelli, Director of the Monaco Government Tourist and Convention Authority: “This reward, from our visitors themselves, is both a recognition of the hard work done daily by everyone in the Principality’s tourism industry, and a statement of the destination’s renewal and unique positioning, confirming that Monaco is like nowhere else".
