Exhibition - "Polar Mission"
Until Sunday 5 January 2025, Oceanographic Museum of Monaco
Discover an immersive and interactive experience! Take on the role of a roving reporter and set off on a mission to explore the polar regions! This new exhibition includes five thematic areas spread over two levels. Learn about the poles and their wildlife, and the men and women who populate and explore them. Fascinating objects and documents, digital content and immersive devices come together to create a 360° experience. The great voyage can begin! The IMMERSION room (space N°4) has closed. The other areas of the Polar Mission exhibition will remain open until 5 January 2025.

Call for participation - Open mic event at Fort Antoine
From Friday 17 March to Monday 15 May 2023, Principality of Monaco
As part of efforts to promote the Principality's young talent and strengthen ties between culture and youth, an open mic event will be organised for and by young people on Tuesday 18 2023 at Fort Antoine. The event is aimed mainly at younger people, allowing those aged 18 to 30 to reveal their musical, acting, or dancing talents on the magical stage of Fort Antoine. If you would like to take part, simply complete the online form before 15 May to sign up. The event is also being organised mainly by young people, specifically a committee of five 18 to 30 year-olds, who are working with teams from the Department of Cultural Affairs. From the technical side to communication, via logistics and artistic policy, they will be overseeing every aspect of the staging of what will hopefully be a hugely successful cultural event.

Exhibition - "Regards Croisés"
From Friday 17 March to Tuesday 27 June 2023, Oceanographic Museum of Monaco
This exhibition tells the story of the great expedition undertaken by Les Explorations de Monaco in the Indian Ocean in October and November 2022, as seen through the eyes of three artists - Elise Rigot, Chloé Thibault, Rémi Leroy, two photographers - Filip Kulisev, Nicolas Mathys, a journalist - Stéphane Dugast, and a director - Sylvain Péroumal, as well as quotes from various participants. Visitors will discover the highlights of the expedition, and the everyday lives of those involved, the numan adventure, the ship itself - a key character in the story, the scientific work performed day and night, and the exceptional natural sites visited. It is both a celebration of travel, discovery, and imagination, and a thought-provoking reflection on a world faced with very real environmental challenges...

Event - "Côte d’Azur Garden Festival"
From Saturday 25 March to Monday 1 May 2023, Terrasses du Casino
Once again this year, the Principality of Monaco is taking part in the Côte d’Azur Garden Festival. On the famous 'terrasses du Casino' (Fairmont side), two landscaped creations will be on display to the public, on the theme of this 4th edition sponsored by TV personality Denis Brogniart: "Surprising perspectives". The gardens are "La jetée" by Sarah Houlbert and Julien Thirion (France) and "Fire: the surprising gardener" by Amber Myers and Studio Fish & Pot (Netherlands, South Africa). The Prince's Government will also be represented in the "non-competing" category with a creation called "Une question de point de vue" designed by Timothée ROCHE, draughtsman at the Design Office of the Department of Urban Amenities and put together by staff from the highways and gardens sections.

Exhibition - "George Condo - Humanoids"

For George Condo, "the Humanoid is not a science fiction monster, but a depiction that uses traditional methods to bring a person's inner emotions to the surface". Over the course of eight sections, the exhibition traces the continuity of a profuse body of work that ranges from “space beings” to Who’s Who, from Guido Reni to Bugs Bunny. Featuring specially produced paintings, the exhibition offers a glimpse of the artist’s process of invention – as crazy as it is erudite – of humanoids.

Cave art workshop: "The Artists of Prehistory". In this workshop, the children will use the same products as Cro-Magnon man, such as pigments and ochres, creating their own paintings of prehistoric animals or decorating Easter eggs. Fire Workshop: "Discovery of Fire". How did they make fire back in those days, without matches or lighters? In this workshop, you will learn to make fire by different methods, friction and percussion, just like prehistoric hunter-gatherers. Prehistoric engraving workshop: the ancient engravings of the bronze age at Mont Bego "LA VALLÉE DES MERVEILLES". Workshop inspired by the most important engravings discovered at the site of Mon Bego (Vallée des Merveilles), which enabled archaeologists to identify several styles corresponding to the different epochs of the Bronze Age. Participants will be invited to reproduce these engravings using silex on plaster boards, gaining an insight into the art of the Bronze Age. From ages 5 to 7 years.

Exhibition - "Monaco-Dolceacqua 500"
From Thursday 20 April to Monday 8 May 2023, Prince’s Palace State Apartments
The first temporary exhibition of the season in the Grands Appartements of the Prince’s Palace. A photographic exhibition entitled “Monaco-Dolceacqua 500” by artist Julien Spiewak. These photos are part of a series entitled Corps de Style which compares the shapes of the human body with a work of art or furniture. This exhibition is one of the events celebrating the twinning between Dolceacqua and Monaco, which will be officially concluded on 3 November, five centuries to the day after an oath of loyalty to Augustin Grimaldi, lord of Monaco, was pledged by the syndics of Dolceacqua.

The Monegasque Rugby Federation and the Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation host the 11th edition of the Sainte Dévote Rugby Tournament. This international U-12 rugby 7s tournament welcomes a record number of participants this year, with 20 teams from 17 countries. The tournament features 3 activities: The international competition is the main event. Under-12 players compete for the final victory throughout the day, with pool matches followed by knockout matches ; Rugby for all offers initiations adapted to children and young adults with disabilities ; Rugbytots accompanies children from 2 to 7 years old in their first steps with a rugby ball.

Composer and new President of the Musical Board of the Prince Pierre of Monaco Foundation, Julian Anderson presents a commentary on his oratorio EXILES, created in 2022 under the direction of Sir Simon Rattle. He will explain the plethora of links between this new work and his other recent creations, and his assiduous membership of the Musical Board of the Prince Pierre Foundation, to which he was appointed in 2007. Organised by the Prince Pierre Foundation.
