The Christmas holidays are approaching
fast! And in the Principality, the festive season is a chance to make merry in
style. Whether you’re with friends, family, or your significant other, there’s
magic in the air.
As every year, the Christmas spirit is
coming to the heart of the Principality! For 2024, the theme will be
“Gingerbread and Festive Delicacies”, with plenty of treats in store for the
whole family.
Visitors can explore a magical world of sweet
delights and childhood memories, positively overflowing with Christmas spirit.
There will be 23 food stalls and 24 charming chalets, plus of course a
selection of ever-popular rides and attractions, including the big wheel,
Christmas tree ride, carousel, and luge. Also new for this year in a fun
Christmas trail!
The
celebrations will be in full swing at Port Hercule as the Christmas Village offers
a variety of street entertainment, from stiltwalkers to dancers and costumed
performers. There will be stage shows in the afternoon, fun creative workshops
for unforgettable family memories, and enchanting evenings of music.
In
addition to the Christmas Village, don’t miss the Sports Village, a
vast area dedicated to sports, games and fun in general. You can find it over
at Port Hercule’s south dock from 20 December 2024 until 5 January
2025. Activities include everything from a zipline and ninja course to a
treetop adventure course and climbing walls, making the Sports Village the
perfect place for thrill-seekers and those with energy to burn!
Monaco
will be dressed up the nines as usual for the season, with its Christmas illuminations. The
Principality’s most iconic buildings will be extravagantly decorated and every
neighbourhood will be bathed in the warm lights of winter.
Shopaholics
can find everything their hearts desire at the Monte-Carlo Shopping Christmas Promenade, a
world-class retail experience combining luxury and elegance in a warm and cosy
atmosphere.
The cherry on the Christmas cake will be in Monte-Carlo,where the famous Casino
Square will be filled with stunning giant snowballs: Take
a stroll and admire them as you soak up the Christmas magic.
From
the legendary carousel and
chalet to the Christmas choir with
its concerts - some organised, others impromptu - or the traditional 18-metre
tall Christmas tree installed in one of Monaco’s most celebrated locations,
children’s eyes will be filled with wonder. It’s going to be a Christmas like
nowhere else!
