Take an environmentally responsible boat trip with the company Whale Watching to visit the PELAGOS sanctuary. This marine area of 87,500 km², protected under an agreement between Italy, Monaco, and France, aims to provide a safe haven for marine mammals in the Mediterranean. And by taking part, you are helping to preserve the sanctuary.
After around one hour's sailing, during which you may well spot some pods of curious and playful dolphins, you might also be lucky enough to spy a whale or two - a moment you'll never forget.
