Getting around by water bus

Why not take the solar-powered bus boat across the port of Monaco? It’s a pleasant way to travel from the Old Town to the Casino and back between 8am and 8pm every day of the week.

Tickets for journeys on the electric water bus cost the same as those for land-based bus services in Monaco. Once aboard, passengers can take advantage of the same services and benefits as on all other buses in the Principality, with tickets available to purchase at identical rates.

The WATER BUS is operated all year round by MONACO RIVIERA NAVIGATION (www.monaco-navigation.com) on behalf of COMPAGNIE des AUTOBUS de MONACO (CAM), which operates all bus services in the Principality.

The first sailing of the day departs from Quai des Etats-Unis at 8 am, while the last service departs from Quai Rainier 1er at 7.50 pm. All onward journeys using other bus services in Monaco are free for 30 minutes. After the crossing, you can reach Monte-Carlo and the Casino via the auditorium lift, while the lift at the Parking des Pécheurs car park will take you to the Old Town.
