Iconic cars and legendary roads for an unforgettable Rallye Historique Monte-Carlo

For this 25th edition, the Rallye Historique Monte-Carlo brought back five authentic concentration legs, from Bad Homburg, Oslo, London, Turin and Reims. Five different routes, with one destination: the Principality of Monaco.

Nearly 300 competitors took part, racing along the legendary roads of the Monegasque back-country that are more usually the preserve of the World Rally Championship drivers. Instead of the latest generation of Toyotas, Hyundais and Fords, this event gave pride of place to their illustrious forebears, including the 1979 Autobianchi A112 Abarth, the 1975 Lancia Beta Monte-Carlo, and the 1965 Porsche 911… These elegant and venerable machines converged on Saturday 28 January below the Prince's Palace, alongside the prestige yachts in the heart of the Principality, before embarking on the 16 Regularity Stages.

Overcoming the snow, cold, ice, and hairpin bends, the Swiss pair Claudio Enz and his co-pilot Cristina Seeberger, driving a 1970 Lancia Fulvia 1.3 S, emerged victorious. The Rallye Historique Monte-Carlo delivered on its promise of iconic cars, famous roads, and stars in the eyes of the fans, climaxing in a sparkling trophy presentation ceremony in the prestigious setting of the Salle des Etoiles at the Sporting Monte-Carlo!
