Princess Antoinette Park with its pleasant, verdant gardens and
ancient olive trees is one of Monaco’s most popular parks. A splendid green
space in the very heart of the Principality, it is first and foremost a
children’s park with activities for all ages.
In addition to several play areas (with swings, slides, sandpits, and so
on) there are also multi-purpose sports pitches and ball games, table tennis
tables, badminton and volleyball courts. For younger visitors, there’s the mini
farm, which is home to goats, ducks, chickens, Guinea pigs, and rabbits, and is
well cared for every day by the gardeners.
Recently, a “Zen space” with light wood and bamboo decking has also been
created, providing a serene area in the middle of the park.
Finally, an 18-hole miniature golf course on clay rounds out the particularly
rich variety of activities, and the nearby kiosk offers light refreshments so
that families can sit and relax on the terrace as they watch their children
play. This activity is open to all; but you will need to book in advance via the website "La Boîte de jeux".
Throughout the year, a variety of activities and events are organised
regularly for children, including Easter egg hunts, storytelling, Halloween
events, and more.
The park opens at 8.30 am
(closing time varies depending on the season) and admission is free.
Accessibility: all areas of the park are accessible for persons with
reduced mobility (care should be taken on slopes and inclines). A swing in the
shape of a saucer, which is particularly suitable for children with
disabilities, can be used by all children aged over 2 years old and under 155
cm tall.
