“The works of painter Iris Devote Littardi as part of an Art Collection”

I became acquainted with the paintings of Iris Devote Littardi through an exhibition dedicated to this artist that took place in BORDIGHERA, Italy during the month of May.

It was the title of the exhibition: “the City of Silence” that made me want to attend the art show that was held at the Anglican Church of this Italian Riviera town. There, my appreciation of Iris’ pictorial works spurred powerful emotions in me. This was particularly true of the painting that gave its name to this exhibition in front of which I was awe-stricken.

I was able to meet the artist personally and I commissioned an oil-painting portrait from her that hangs alongside masterpieces from, Bazzaro, Bucci, Frisia, Pellizza da Volpedo and Finetti in my dignified, albeit small, art collection.

I will most certainly be attending the next art show of this beautiful and gifted artist that will take place in Monte-Carlo from Friday 25 June to Friday 30 July, from 10 am to 1 pm and from 2.30 pm to 7.30 pm, Espace Scripta Manent.
