The daily workshops take place between 2 pm and 4 pm, and are designed for children aged 7 to 12. Each workshop costs €15.
CAMERA OBSCURA, Tuesdays 4, 11 and 18 August. The children will make and test out their own camera obscura in the gardens of the Villa Paloma.
FROM SHADOW THEATRE TO STOP MOTION, Thursdays 6, 13 and 20 August. The children will invent a story, draw, cut out and animate images using a tablet-based frame by frame animation app.
The Family Workshops take place every Saturday and Sunday from 3 pm to 4.30 pm. Participation in the family workshops is free, once you have paid the general admission price where applicable. Suitable for children aged 7 to 12.
SATURDAY - A HISTORY OF OPTICS
Why do we see an animated drawing move? Learn how an image is formed in your eye, by discovering the projections from the Variations exhibition. You can also make your own flipbook.
SUNDAY - TREASURE HUNT
Standing majestically above the sea, the gardens of the Villa Paloma are home to a host of treasures. Come and find the artworks scattered around the gardens.
Workshops are limited to no more than six participants and advance booking is required, by email at email@example.com All take place at the Villa Paloma.
Each activity has been designed to maintain social distancing and comply with health rules. Masks must be worn by everyone over the age of 5 years. The practical workshops guarantee the use of personalised equipment, which is cleaned after each use.
