E-prix de Monaco

Experience the electric atmosphere of the Monaco E-Prix!

Since 2015, the Principality has hosted the cutting-edge electric Grand Prix every two years - in odd-numbered years - alternating with the Historic Monaco Grand Prix.

Although the electric category was only created five years ago, Formula E vehicles and technology have made great strides in terms of power and range. Today’s next-generation, all-electric cars are capable of speeds up to 280 km/h, and some of the world’s biggest constructors are playing their part in the electric revolution, including Jaguar, Porsche, Venturi, Mercedes, DS, Nissan and BMW!
From 2021, the Formula E cars will race along the famous F1 Grand Prix circuit, while at the same time, a special “E-Village” will showcase the constructors’ latest innovations, and a gaming zone will offer fans the chance to test their driving skills in the simulator…

In Monaco, the Formula E cars will race along the lower part of the F1 circuit, while at the same time, a special “E-Village” will showcase the constructors’ latest innovations, and a gaming zone will offer fans the chance to test their driving skills in the simulator…

Note: Formula E is the only sport in the world where fans can influence the result by voting to give their favourite driver an extra boost of mechanical power during the race.  That’s the “fan boost” effect!

The Monaco E-Prix is part of the FIA Formula E Championship.
