New exhibition in Carré Doré Monte-Carlo
Did Dontzoff will present his work till april 14th 2012
Did Dontzoff, who is of Russian descent, was born in 1956.
Before taking up painting, he pursued a successful career in contemporary dance, dancing with various companies in Paris. Dance was his first artistic passion and its influence can still be felt in his work.
He took up painting, his second passion, in 1983 at the age of 28. He is a true born artist who has devoted himself entirely to art, working relentlessly day-in and day-out, producing innumerable works during various artistic periods punctuated by exhibitions; he has also travelled extensively in Latin America, primarily in Brazil and Argentina, which he knows quite well.
In 2010-11, he gained access to a number of major galleries, including the Adler Gallery in Paris, but also in New York, where he remained for six months to paint and prepare an exhibition.
Did DONTZOFF is now an artist “with a following”. His work is regularly sought after by collectors, making it possible for him to support himself through his art.
