The Principality has just been voted
Europe’s top destination for 2025 in a poll of more than one million travellers
by the tourism website European Best Destinations.
After
taking second place in 2024, the Principality has now been named best European destination for 2025. The
distinction recognises Monegasque excellence and highlights the unique benefits
that the Principality has to offer visitors.
More
than a million travellers from 158 countries made Monaco their
number one choice, based on a number of criteria:
- An environmentally-friendly destination committed to a strong green policy, eco-certified hotels,
excellent soft mobility options, and numerous parks and gardens covering some 20% of the country.
- Exclusive experiences,
from world-class cuisine to landmark cultural and sporting events, cocooning spa treatments, and luxury shopping.
- A
subtle blend of tradition and modernity to satisfy even the
most demanding travellers.
The award is proof that the unstinting
efforts of Monaco’s tourism professionals, hospitality firms, guides,
retailers, public services, and places of interest are truly paying off. It
also shows the success of national initiatives and recent renovations at
various partner institutions, aimed at ensuring Monaco continues to offer
outstanding levels of quality and service.
