Exhibition - "Polar Mission"
Until Sunday 5 January 2025, Oceanographic Museum of Monaco
Discover an immersive and interactive experience! Take on the role of a roving reporter and set off on a mission to explore the polar regions! This new exhibition includes five thematic areas spread over two levels. Learn about the poles and their wildlife, and the men and women who populate and explore them. Fascinating objects and documents, digital content and immersive devices come together to create a 360° experience. The great voyage can begin! The IMMERSION room (space N°4) has closed. The other areas of the Polar Mission exhibition will remain open until 5 January 2025.

The Cabinet of Curiosities - "The Early Days of Télé Monte-Carlo, 1954-1974​" - An exhibition looking at the first 20 years of Monaco's TV channel launched in 1954. A selection of archives and objects will take you back in time, to the very earliest days of colour television. Organised by the Audiovisual Institute of Monaco, the exhibition features items entrusted by Télé Monte-Carlo for safekeeping, documents from partner institutions, and materials kindly loaned by private individuals.

Exhibition - "Francisco Tropa - Paesine"
From Friday 6 December 2024 to Monday 21 April 2025, Nouveau Musée National de Monaco - Villa Paloma
The exhibition takes its name from "pietre paesine", ruined marble, whose geological markings are reminiscent of painted landscapes, on the boundary between figuration and abstraction. This analogy of nature and technique is a central theme in the work of Francisco Tropa, which focuses on the way in which an image appears and is perceived.

The theme of this year's Christmas Village is "Gingerbread and Festive Delicacies". City Hall invites you to explore a magical world of sweet delights and childhood memories, positively overflowing with Christmas spirit. There will be 21 food stalls serving delicious warming snacks and 24 charming chalets selling all manner of seasonal gifts, plus of course a selection of ever-popular rides and attractions, including the big wheel, Christmas tree ride, carousel, luge, Santa's sleigh, and a Christmas merry-go-round for younger children. Also new for this year in a fun Christmas trail!

All is not well in the land of the fairies! Demetrius is in love with Hermia, who is in love with Lysander, who holds a torch for Helena, who dreams of seducing Demetrius. But as if that web of romantic entanglements were not enough, Oberon and Titania, the King and Queen of the forest, decide to have some delicious fun at the mortals' expense, sending the knavish Puck to torment them. And in one final, dizzying complication, a troupe of amateur thespians find themselves embroiled in this imbroglio, in which each protagonist's destiny will ultimately be revealed. Will love win the day?

2024/2025 Season - The Company. With The Taming of the Shrew, Jean-Christophe Maillot finds himself in unfamiliar territory - bringing to Les Ballets de Monte-Carlo a piece originally created for other dancers. This version of the Shrew, devised in 2014 and inspired by his meeting with the Bolshoi Ballet, was his first ever creation for another copmany since arriving in Monaco.

Dans cette conférence, la médecine légale fait "parler les morts" anciens, à travers l'étude de patients historiques (l'australopithèque Lucy, les restes de Richard Cœur-de-Lion, les fausses reliques de Jeanne d'Arc, la tête d'Henri IV, le sang de Marat et Robespierre, les latrines de Napoléon à Longwood, le masque mortuaire de Flaubert, la mâchoire de Hitler et les cheveux de Picasso). Par Philippe Charlier est docteur en médecine, docteur ès-lettres (archéo-anthropologie) et docteur ès-sciences (bioéthique).

Whom do we love, when we love? Do we ever know who it is that's loved? Is shared love nothing more than a fortunate misunderstanding? These eternal mysteries around the meaning of love are the stage for a showdown between two men. Abel Znorko, a winner of the Nobel Prize for Literature, has withdrawn to a hermit-like existence on an island off the north of Norway, with coke, alcohol and psychedelics his only companions. There, he constantly relives his passionate yearning for a woman with whom he has been corresponding for years. Erik Larsen is a journalist, who has asked for an interview as a pretext for meeting the author. But what is his hidden agenda? And how is he linked to the woman who Znorko claims still holds his heart? And just why has this bitter old misanthrope, with his dark glasses, silk robe and shotgun, agreed to receive him?

Show - "Artus, One Man Show"

"In this new show, Artus won't be pushing the limits - because there aren't any!" Artus became a household name thanks to his appearance on Laurent Ruquier's show "On n'demande qu'à en rire" on France 2, between 2011 and 2014. Artus has also appeared in numerous television and radio shows. In 2016, he took part in the seventh season of TF1's Danse avec les stars. Then in 2017, he joined the cast of the Canal+ series Le Bureau des légendes, where he played the role of Jonas Maury. In 2019, he hosted a show on Netflix called C'est du gâteau. And in 2022, he starred in the series Darknet-sur-Mer.

Desire, by nature insatiable, becomes tyranical, while sexuality remains solitary and auto-erotic. Fusing together love, desire, and pleasure is a utopian dream, but humanity persists, drawn along by the sheer power of these experiences, in spite of their contradictions. For although they can be a source of pain, love, desire, and pleasures bring light into our lives, giving us the power to love, dream, and overcome the impossible.

With the Organising Committee of the Automobile Club de Monaco committed to ensuring this 93rd edition of the Monte-Carlo Rally poses as tough a challenge as ever - perhaps more challenging than even before - the route will once again feature a whole host of difficulties for the competitors to navigate. This opening leg of the 2025 FIA World Rally Championship will officially get under way on the Place du Casino, on Thursday 23 January, and promises to be a thrilling hit with drivers and fans alike.

From Wednesday 29 January to Wednesday 5 February, Principality of Monaco
Just three days after the climax of the WRC event, the focus will shift to the 27th Rallye Monte-Carlo Historique. In keeping with tradition, the competitors given the green light to start the rally will be faced with a highly demanding route featuring some of the historic special stages that forged the legend of the "Monte-Carlo". This classic version of the rally is reserved for cars that raced in Monte-Carlo Rallies between 1911 and 1983.

Returning to his hometown in provincial France, he is invited by his old classmates - now members of high society - to a special dinner at which every guest is expected to come as a figure from the French Revolutionary. Bitos goes as Robespierre. But the evening is a trap. In a recreation of the revolutionary Terror and Purification, Bitos will be plied with drink before revealing the "Imposter" beneath the mask of the "Incorruptible", humiliating him and bringing his career to an ignominious end.

This show featuring real actors and puppets takes us aboard the Nautilus, Captain Nemo's legendary submarine resembling half sea monster, and half cutting edge technological wonder. All the famous characters from Jules Verne's classic novel are here, from Professor Aronnax and his loyal servant Conseil who, before becoming shipwrecked and being taken prisoner by Nemo, had gone hunting for the giant narwhal aboard the US Navy frigate Abraham Lincoln, alongside harpooner Ned Land. Captain Nemo, a true modern pirate, forces them to sail with him on a voyage across the world's oceans, where scientific experiments mingle with the poetry of the deep. The actors, accompanied by a troupe of fish, invite us to join them in an expedition to explore the classic literary masterpiece.

Le Festival Printemps des Arts de Monte-Carlo 2025 célèbre le centenaire de Pierre Boulez, figure phare de la musique contemporaine. Concerts, projections et performances exploreront son œuvre novatrice et son influence mondiale. Le festival met aussi en lumière le lien artistique entre Boulez et le peintre Francis Bacon. Six tableaux de Bacon, créés lors de leur rencontre à Paris, illustrent les thèmes de la fragilité humaine et du temps, tout en reflétant les échanges entre musique et peinture. Ce dialogue entre deux génies du XXᵉ siècle offre une immersion unique dans leur univers artistique.
