With the summer season in Monaco in full swing, there’s a vast choice of exclusive pop-up restaurants and other experiences not to be missed. But you’ll need to make the most of them, as they won’t be around forever!

Whether you’re looking for delicious food, great music, or the chance to top up your wellness levels thanks to collaborations with prestige spa brands, Monaco has everything you could possibly desire for a five-star summer.

Pop-up gourmet restaurants

Zia at the Odyssey, Hôtel Métropole Monte-Carlo: A heart helping of Italian tradition with a side of bold culinary flair, that’s what you’ll find at the ZIA pop-up at the Odyssey. In a stunning setting designed by none other than Karl Lagerfeld, guests can settle down to enjoy original, contemporary pizzas made using the very finest organic Italian flour. The menu includes inspiring savoury options such as truffle pizza and avocado caviar, and strawberry-pistachio or chocolate praline made with Piedmont hazelnuts for those with a sweet tooth. All the dishes are created by acclaimed chefs Manon Santini, World Dessert Pizza Champion, and Rocco Seminara, winner of Joël Robuchon’s prestigious Neptune Prize.

Mada Lounge: Tucked away amid the greenery of the Jardins des Boulingrins opposite the Casino de Monte-Carlo, the Mada Lounge is one of those place you simply have to visit when in Monaco this summer. The pop-up created by chef Marcel Ravin’s Mada One serves up a mix of cocktails and musical entertainment, with DJ sets and live performances from Wednesday to Sunday, until 1 September.

Veuve Clicquot Sun Club: You’ll find this ultra-chic pop-up by champagne house Veuve Clicquot opposite the Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo. It’s the perfect place to pause and enjoy a little sparkling refreshment on those warm summer days.

Campari Lounge: Campari, the iconic Italian spirit, has taken up residence in the tranquil surroundings of the Excelsior Garden at the Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo, with a DJ providing the music from Thursday to Saturday. You’ll find a generous selection of drinks and finger foods, the ideal recipe for a greazt summer evening.

Summer chalets on the Avenue de Monte-Carlo: Head to the Avenue de Monte-Carlo to discover two new pop-up chalets: “Salads & More” and “Ice Creams & More” are both open until 30 September.

 

Pop-up wellness experiences 

Thermes Marins Monte-Carlo x Pucci: The eye-catching brand known for its bold Pucci prints has brought its Very Vivara collection to the Thermes Marins Monte-Carlo, for a unique shopping experience at the store and an original cocktail recipe inspired by the collection’s pallet of colours.

Lancaster at the Sea Bay, Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort: The Sea Bay area has gone Lancaster-style for the summer. The brand is offering an exclusive free gift for every sun bed for two booked. There are also Lancaster cocktails to try at the bar, L’Hippocampe.

Spa Métropole by Givenchy: Discover the new Summer Treatments Collection and sample a designer wellness experience at the prestigious Hôtel Métropole.

Summer concepts

Riviera Barbecue at Amù: Amù, the rooftop restaurant at the Hôtel Fairmont Monte-Carlo, invites you to its new Riviera Barbecue. Make your Sunday special with a sumptuous barbecue as you enjoy the live music and spectacular sea views.

Far niente at the Novotel: Make the very most of lunches and evenings by the pool at the Novotel with mouth-watering barbecues at the Braséro Azzura and a salad bar, all with a friendly and welcoming vibe.

Billionaire at the Sporting Monte-Carlo: Until 21 August, the legendary Salle des Etoiles is hosting Billionaire for the second year running. The luxury dining and entertainment extravaganza is a blend of thrilling show featuring performances by some thirty international artists, accompanied by a sumptuous meal. For one night, experience something completely different with a fusion of Italian and Asian cuisine.

La Plage & More at the Méridien Beach Plaza: Spend you day between the beach, pool, spa, and thrilling water sports. Round things off in the evening with a Mediterranean meal overlooking the sea, beneath the pines at Muse Monte-Carlo (seasonal restaurant).

Karaoke Room at the Novotel: Monaco now has a brand a new concept with the Karaoke Room at the Novotel, where you can sing your heart out with family friends. When you’ve belted out a few of your favourite tunes and worked up an appetite, order a snack or a meal hotel’s menu.

Sea & Sun at the Monte-Carlo Beach: For a relaxed lunch, head to Le Deck (seasonal restaurant) before settling down on a sun lounger and enjoying the Olympic pool and private beach.

Summer Festival at La Note Bleue: Over at the Larvotto seaside complex down by the water’s edge you’ll find La Note Bleue, a timeless restaurant where the menu boasts a mix of great food and eclectic, expertly chosen music. The Summer Festival is coming to the restaurant’s Music Bar, with  an eclectic line-up of funk, soul, jazz fusion and more that’s sure to get you up and dancing late into the summer night!

Las Brisas: Get away from it all for an hour or two and discover the sun-drenched Mediterranean cuisine of acclaimed chef Marcel Ravin at the Hôtel Monte-Carlo Bay & Resort. Take a moment out of time and soak up the warmth as you admire the azure sea. Try their live music lunches every Sunday and spice up your evening with the exceptional "Noches de Fuego" on 16 August.

Jimmy’z Monte-Carlo celebrates its 50th anniversary!: Every Wednesday night is Straight Outta Jimmy'z Monte-Carlo, and if you’re a fan of house music, prepare to GO DEEP on Thursdays, while there’s an open format with guest DJs on Fridays and Saturdays (in July and August).
