This year, the Monaco Red Cross is especially proud to host Jamie Cullum. The British jazz-pop singer-songwriter and pianist has recorded eight studio albums. His first love was the cinema, but after brilliant studies in literature and cinematography, it was nevertheless in music that he made his debut. Five years after the release of his first album, he finally renewed acquaintance with the movies, contributing to the official soundtrack of the film Bridget Jones: the Age of Reason with a cover of "Everlasting Love". A string of awards followed, along with another opportunity in 2008 that saw him compose the ballad Gran Torino specially for the Clint Eastwood film of the same name. A distinguished artist, Jamie Cullum is busier than ever, but he will be making room in his schedule to perform at at the summer concert of the Monaco Red Cross, on the Place du Casino.
